14th Annual Brain Tumor Update AND 3rd Annual International Symposium on Long-Term Control of Metastases to the Brain and Spine

Better control of systemic disease and more aggressive treatments have led to enhanced survival in patients with CNS metastasis. Little focus, however, has been placed on the long-term control of CNS metastasis and the impact of such control on the patient. This symposium will examine interventions, controversies, and late effects associated with long-term control of central nervous system metastasis. The symposium will also focus on biology of glioma and potential for innovative therapeu- tic approaches to treatment of glioblastoma. Discuss the roles of surgery, radiation therapy and systemic therapy in treatment of gliomas.
