The goal of the Symposium is to highlight the areas of immunology, cancer immunobiology and inflammation with an emphasis on new findings in manipulating the immune system to fight or prevent cancer. Keynote speakers are Douglas Hilton, PhD (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research) and Raymond DuBois, MD, PhD (MD Anderson). In addition, Laurie Glimcher, MD (Weill Cornell Medical College) will receive the Ernst W. Bertner Memorial Award and James Allison, PhD (Zuckerman Research Center) will receive the Heath Memorial Award. There will also be a poster session for participants to represent their findings. The Symposium begins Friday morning and will end Saturday afternoon.
